The East Vale Ministry Area has strong links with all three of our local Church in Wales schools. Our clergy lead weekly collective worship in each school, alongside regular school Eucharist celebrations, classroom visits and events in our churches.
We have an ‘Open the Book’ team who visit each school to share interactive Bible stories and lead worship – a highlight for both the schools and the team! Our ‘Lifepath’ day is always a hit with pupils, as they learn about the history and heritage of St Cadoc’s Church, Llancarfan, through workshops and activities linking back to its monastic roots.
We are part of ‘The Lounge’ team who regularly visit Cowbridge Comprehensive to provide a safe space for Year 7 pupils to come to relax over a free hot chocolate.
Pendoylan Primary School is a Church in Wales school, which means that faith and Christian values underpin the whole life of the school.
